Is M386AAG40AM3-CWE Compatible With My System?

Before ordering, verify that the server, motherboard, processor and BIOS support 288-pin DDR4 ECC LRDIMM memory. The platform must also support 128GB module capacities and a quad-rank 4Rx4 organization. Support for lower-capacity LRDIMMs does not automatically guarantee support for this module.

An LRDIMM is not interchangeable with a standard RDIMM. Although both module types use a 288-pin DDR4 form factor, their buffering architectures and system requirements differ. Do not install this module in a system designed only for RDIMM, ECC UDIMM, non-ECC UDIMM or SODIMM memory.

Do not mix LRDIMMs and RDIMMs unless the server manufacturer explicitly supports that configuration. The module may operate below 3200 MT/s when limited by the processor, motherboard, BIOS, installed capacity or memory-channel population.
